Over a Decade, One Machine

Back then we weren’t thinking about building a brand. We just built machines one by one and tuned filters one by one. We made them for Japanese clients, German clients, American clients. Their standards were high, so we rose to meet them. From one production line to two, from one workshop to an industrial park, and then to two. More than a decade later, the factory buildings changed, the equipment was replaced, and the people on the floor turned over — but the machines never stopped running.

More than two hundred patents sit locked in archive drawers. In a corner of the workshop, discarded filters are stacked half a person high, and the test room walls are covered with nearly ten years of fan-noise curves. Even the cleaning lady knows what iodine value the activated carbon needs so it won’t turn sour after two months. Someone once brought in one of our machines, took it apart, and said, “Your filter layers are stacked so neatly.” That meant more to us than anything.

It’s not some grand vision. We simply believe things should be made well — well enough that customers come back, and well enough that we can sleep at night.

Once, a client ordered a batch of bedroom prototypes. Lao Zhou from the testing department was rushing a project and set up a folding bed in the test room to spend the night. The next morning he told us: “Strange thing — I’ve had neurasthenia for five or six years; a car passing downstairs wakes me up. But last night, with that prototype running, I slept six straight hours without even dreaming.”

At first we assumed it was the filter removing odors. But controlled tests proved otherwise — with the same machine running its fan in a cleanroom, people stayed tense. Yet when we raised the ion concentration in the air close to forest levels, after half an hour, people’s shoulders loosened without them even noticing.

After a decade of sleep research, we slowly came to understand: the “clean” on a test report and the “comfort” a person feels when they lie down are two different things. Especially in a bedroom, where you lie for seven or eight hours every day — the final measure of air quality is not a number on a report. It’s whether, after you lie down, you can relax and sleep soundly.

After that, we pulled most of our energy away from chasing CADR numbers. The team buried itself in the lab for three years, focused on one question: what kind of air environment lets people truly sink into deep sleep.

On the clean sleep environment side, we pushed dual-mode ultra-fusion technology to its limit — active release and passive filtration working in synergy. Not simply stacked together, but two purification modes amplifying each other inside the same air duct. This is the foundation a purifier should have. Only with the foundation in place does anything else matter.

With the foundation set, we took two more steps toward sleep: 500 million small-particle negative oxygen ions, and the Schumann wave.

We had worked with negative ions years earlier. Back then we kept chasing concentration numbers — we built units at the billion level, but they gave off a static smell when switched on and tended to generate ozone as a byproduct, which was irritating in a bedroom. So we switched to carbon-fiber emitter tips and adjusted the emission angle and current parameters more than a hundred times before arriving at today’s 500-million concentration — the same state as the air in a plane-tree grove after rain. You smell nothing unusual; your breathing feels grounded; even the floating lint in the air settles to the floor instead of drifting into your nose. Air like this is “alive” — not the dry, stripped kind of clean that comes from filtration alone.

The Schumann wave, put simply, is the Earth’s own fundamental frequency. When you camp in the mountains, you always sleep especially well — and besides the clean air, it’s because out there, away from the steel, concrete, and electromagnetic interference, that frequency is always present. We didn’t do anything fancy. We simply restored the natural frequency that city buildings cancel out, right in your bedroom. No headphones, no extra devices to trigger — your body recognizes this frequency on its own. Lie down for ten minutes or so, and your breathing slowly begins to slow.

These two things are not marketing specs we invented. They are the simplest answers we found after trying dozens of approaches: one returns the air to what you smell in nature; the other returns your body to the relaxed state you feel in nature.

“Beyond clean, made for deep sleep” — this is not a slogan. After more than a decade of OEM manufacturing, what kind of purifier haven’t we built? If we wanted quick money, we could have copied a bestseller, slapped on a label, and sold it. But after all these years, we wanted to build a machine we ourselves enjoy using. Clean air is the foundation a purifier should have. Letting you sleep soundly and deeply — that’s what we truly want to give you.
